20 Days Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Chennai

Arrive at Chennai International Airport / Railway Station. Meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Later visit Marina Beach, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Santhome Basilica and Government Museum. Overnight stay at Chennai.

Day 2 – Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

After breakfast drive along the scenic East Coast Road to Mahabalipuram. Visit Shore Temple, Five Rathas, Arjuna's Penance and Krishna's Butter Ball. Continue to Pondicherry. Evening visit Promenade Beach. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.

Day 3 – Pondicherry Sightseeing

Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Matrimandir (outside view), French Quarter, Sacred Heart Basilica, Bharathi Park and local shopping streets. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.

Day 4 – Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Thanjavur

After breakfast proceed to Chidambaram and visit the famous Nataraja Temple. Continue via Gangaikonda Cholapuram and reach Thanjavur. Visit the UNESCO-listed Brihadeeswarar Temple. Overnight stay at Thanjavur.

Day 5 – Thanjavur – Trichy – Madurai

Visit Thanjavur Palace and Art Gallery before driving to Trichy. Explore Rockfort Temple and Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam. Continue to Madurai and enjoy the evening Aarthi ceremony at Meenakshi Amman Temple. Overnight stay at Madurai.

Day 6 – Madurai – Rameshwaram

After breakfast drive to the sacred island of Rameshwaram via the famous Pamban Bridge. Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agni Theertham, Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

Day 7 – Rameshwaram – Dhanushkodi – Kanyakumari

Early morning visit Dhanushkodi, the historic ghost town located at India's southeastern tip. Later drive to Kanyakumari. Enjoy the beautiful sunset at Kanyakumari Beach and visit Bhagavathy Amman Temple. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

Day 8 – Kanyakumari – Trivandrum – Kovalam

Witness the spectacular sunrise before proceeding to Trivandrum. Visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum and Kanakakunnu Palace. Continue to Kovalam and relax at Lighthouse Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 9 – Kovalam – Varkala – Kollam

Drive along Kerala's scenic coastline to Varkala. Visit Papanasam Beach, Janardhana Swamy Temple and the famous Varkala Cliff. Continue to Kollam for an overnight stay.

Day 10 – Kollam – Alleppey Houseboat

Travel to Alleppey and board a traditional Kerala houseboat. Cruise through the peaceful backwaters, coconut lagoons, villages and paddy fields while enjoying authentic Kerala cuisine. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 11 – Alleppey – Thekkady

After breakfast check out from the houseboat and drive to Thekkady. Visit a spice plantation, enjoy an optional Kathakali or Kalaripayattu cultural show, and explore the local spice market. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 12 – Thekkady – Munnar

Proceed to the beautiful hill station of Munnar. En route enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery and waterfalls. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening amidst the lush tea plantations. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 13 – Munnar Sightseeing

Visit Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Blossom Park and scenic tea gardens. Enjoy the cool climate and panoramic hill views. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 14 – Munnar – Athirappilly – Kochi

After breakfast drive towards Kochi via the spectacular Athirappilly Waterfalls and Charpa Falls. Reach Kochi in the evening and relax at the hotel. Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day 15 – Kochi Sightseeing

Explore Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Marine Drive. Enjoy shopping for spices, handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day 16 – Kochi – Guruvayur

After breakfast drive to Guruvayur. Visit the famous Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple, Mammiyoor Temple and Punnathur Kotta Elephant Sanctuary. Spend the evening exploring the temple town. Overnight stay at Guruvayur.

Day 17 – Guruvayur – Calicut (Kozhikode)

Drive to Kozhikode and visit Kozhikode Beach, Mananchira Square, SM Street Market and Kappad Beach where Vasco da Gama first landed in India. Overnight stay at Kozhikode.

Day 18 – Kozhikode – Wayanad

Travel through the scenic Western Ghats to Wayanad. Visit Pookode Lake, Lakkidi View Point and enjoy the refreshing mountain climate. Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day 19 – Wayanad Sightseeing

Explore Edakkal Caves, Soochipara Waterfalls, Banasura Sagar Dam and Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary (subject to time and availability). Enjoy nature, forests and beautiful landscapes. Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day 20 – Wayanad – Kochi Departure
